Online Policy

Return Policy: We do not accept returns for Arteriors, Currey & Co, Palecek, Troy/Corbett, Visual Comfort, showroom, custom fixtures, or chain.


We are pleased to introduce our NEW no re-stock fee policy! For all online orders, items must be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in their original packaging and cannot be installed. We cannot accept the return of any installed items. ALL returns are subject to return shipping costs. See below for our return shipping costs.

We require an RMA (return merchandise authorization) on all returns. No credit will be given to orders that arrive without an RMA. All purchases made on our website must be handled and returned to our online sales department. To initiate a return please call 844-461-3633 or email cs@lightingdesign.com.


Exchanges: If you would like to exchange an item, we will happily do so within 30 days of delivery. If you choose an item of equal value to exchange with, we will waive the return shipping fee.


Open box Policy: Open box items are final sale, as-is condition. No returns or requests will be accepted for open box items.

Damaged Items: While it does not happen often, items will sometimes come damaged. Once your item arrives, it is your responsibility to inspect for damages and make sure everything is correct. If you encounter a problem with a fixture or a damaged item, we must receive notification within 72 hours of receipt to initiate a claim.


Lost Items: If an item's tracking says delivered, and you do not have it, you must contact us within 5 business days. After this timeframe, we may not be able to help with lost shipments.


Shipping Policy: Orders over $50 ship for free. As soon as we receive and verify payment we will ship via FedEx or UPS. During COVID-19, our delivery times have been extended. Please allow up to 5-15 business days for your order to arrive. If your order says delivered and you have not received it, you MUST notify us within 7 days of said delivery. Otherwise, we may not be able to do anything to help you.


Orders that require LTL (freight truck) are delivered curb side only. If any other services are required that will need to be negotiated between you and the freight company. Our normal shipping is for the lower 48 states. If you would like to ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or Canada, please email cs@lightingdesign.com for a quote. We do not ship internationally currently.

Showroom Policy

Return Policy: We do not accept returns for Arteriors, Currey & Co, Palecek, Troy/Corbett, Visual Comfort, showroom, or custom fixtures.


We are pleased to introduce our NEW no re-stock fee policy! For all showroom purchases, ALL returns are subject to return shipping costs (see below for return shipping costs). In-stock items may be returned for a full refund within 10 days of receipt if uninstalled. In-stock items may be returned for store credit within 15 days from purchase if uninstalled. Items must be in their original packaging and uninstalled.


Damaged Items: While it does not happen often, items will sometimes come damaged. Should you receive a damaged or defective product please contact us within 1 day of delivery and we will replace the item free of charge.


Shipping Policy: Showroom orders can be shipped directly to you for an extra cost. Otherwise, all orders will arrive at your closest showroom location for pickup. Please allow 5-15 business days for items to arrive.

MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA TO QUALIFY:

  • The item can not be on clearance or discontinued.
  • We must be able to verify the lower price.
  • The price is in print or you have a written quote.
  • Verbal price quotes are acceptable however we must be able to verify.
  • Offer only applies to new orders. No refunds will be given once your order is placed.
  • Standard return and cancellation policies still apply.
  • Price must be no older than 30 days

Lighting Design strives to provide the best price possible. Discounts or coupons cannot be used on previous orders or in conjunction with any other offer.
