How to Find the Right Sized Chandelier for Your Dining Area [FREE INFOGRAPHICS]

Chandelier size guide for a round chandelier over a rectangular table

For round chandeliers over a rectangular dining room table, you want 6" of clearance from the left and right edges of the table. We recommend about 30-36" of space between the top of the table and the bottom of the fixture.

For a round chandelier over a round table, you want it to be no bigger than 3/4 the circumference of the table. The bottom of the chandelier should be 30-36" from the top of the table.
