"same brand, new image"

Our business has been around for over twenty years and our first store was established in Draper, Utah. The store was an exciting new idea to bring customers straight to their lighting needs. We wanted to establish relationships with our customers. We wanted to be able to offer a lighting showroom full of displays so customers could see the high quality brands we carry. We wanted to be a store where customers could ask questions and receive guidance about the lights they were interested in. We wanted to offer products customers could buy off the floor but also have a variety of options that customers could order.

We pride ourselves in customer service and are continually trying to improve. We serve a wide variety of customers from DIY builders, contractors, designers, and the daily shopper. We have a wide variety of options to fulfill the needs of any project from a new build, remodel, commercial projects and everything in between.

Lighting Design is always striving to keep up with the latest trends. Thus, we decided our storefront needed a makeover. It took awhile to get the ball rolling but once we decided on the new paint color, “cloud white’’ everyone was getting excited about the direction we were heading. We started brainstorming about a new font for our sign and decided we wanted something more modern. We finally agreed on this font, Optima Medium and decided it should be our new logo.

We decided to add black accents so we painted the window frames black and updated the green awnings to black. We chose modern satin black exterior lights to add the perfect touch. (Link to exterior lights here:  http://lightingdesign.com/1639sk-led )

Our whole goal in updating our storefront was to excite our customers when they visit our store. We know the feeling you get when you enter a store with a chic storefront and we wanted you to get that same feeling with us. For a while customers would mention they weren’t sure what type of lighting we sold because our storefront appeared outdated. However, when they entered our store they found we carried very updated light fixtures that followed current trends. We wanted to reflect that on the inside and outside of our store.
