Vendor Spotlight: Savoy House
It all started in the farmlands of Southern Georgia in the 1930s with a young Robert Lee. Robert was plowing a field when he watched as a train sped by in the distance. Seeing the train inspired Robert to leave his life in southern Georgia in hopes of finding a successful future. He soon hopped on a train with nothing but some pocket change and made his way to Atlanta.
After starting Atlanta-based Progressive Lighting with his son in 1965, Robert curated a fixture catalog and a network of sales representatives. The brand was a runaway success and began selling fixtures throughout the Southeast region and later, the whole nation.
Savoy House was then born.
Modern Savoy House
Since, Savoy House designs have evolved from a southern traditional identity to a much broader array of styles, including soft contemporary, urban structural and nostalgic restoration looks. These fashion-forward designs have made Savoy House lighting extremely popular among design-conscious professionals in the industry today.
Savoy House is the perfect blend of affordable lighting, exceptional quality, and great design.
