This inverted art glass shade features flourishes with Orange and Red Hollyhocks accented with Green Leaves on an Amber gridwork background. The Duffner & Kimberly Reproduction handcrafted shade is created using the famous Meyda Tiffany copperfoil construction technique and cradled with elegant cast metal hardware in Mahogany Bronze. The fixture is ideal for placement in hallways and dining areas to create a beautiful design statement in residential and hospitality spaces, from New York, New York to Meriden, Connecticut, to Cleveland, Ohio. The overall height ranges from 28 to 62 inches, as the chain length can be adjusted in the field to accommodate your specific lighting application needs. Each shade is a unique work of art with color variations based on natural ingredients inherent in the glass. Duffner & Kimberly was a New York-based company founded by stained glass window designer Oliver Speers Kimberly, and Francis Duffner, who had significant lighting industry experience. The company focused exclusively on creating high-end art glass shades with matching bronze and brass bases during the early 20th Century. Their designs were popular during that period and included the Shell, Viking, and Grape Vineyard, to name but a few.
