Taking its cues from the Ryan NYP Spirit of St. Louis — the plane used on the first solo flight across the Atlantic — the Daphne 1 Light Medium Pendant takes you on a flight of the imagination. The gold and black radial fins are inspired by the engine that powered the aircraft on its record-setting flight, the Daphne name comes from a photo of a woman observing a placard honoring the event. As a single pendant light over a kitchen island, breakfast bar, or dining nook, the medium scale fits where a cluster would crowd, as a foyer pendant or hallway statement piece, the radial silhouette reads as art deco lighting with mid-century lift.
