Inspired by the imaginative, surprising artwork found in century-old Japanese art books, the Scribble 6 Light Pendant takes things a little more Pop art. Free-form curves are captured in a circular framework — form and function in stream-of-consciousness style, with no real beginning or end. A silver-gold finish is hand-applied to the scribbling itself, set against a light taupe linen shade that softens the light source. Over an island or dining table, Scribble reads as art first, fixture second, as a single statement pendant, it earns the room. The metal scribble is shaped by hand, the silver-gold layered over the matte black frame, the linen shade hand-stitched. Hand-forged from 70% recycled steel, finished with low-VOC paint,.
