A rose is a rose is a rose, until Varaluz reimagines it. Inspired by a drawing from the Japanese design magazine Shin-Bijutsukai (New Oceans of Art), the Ethereal Rose 4 Light Sconce marries swirling lines of varying thicknesses and irregular curves with mid-century metalwork technique. At the center of each rose sits a multi-faceted, optic-quality round crystal element, the hanging stems and secondary canopy complete the wispy motif. The Havana Gold hand-painted multi-layered finish features a unique ombre that deepens around the crystal centers, with polished stainless accents catching cool highlights against the warm gold. As a wall sconce light, vanity sconce, or bathroom wall sconce, the four-light run carries dimension across a long mirror or hallway run. Hand-finished in small batches, with hand-set crystal, recycled-content steel, and low-VOC paint. Mid century modern lighting with art deco lighting bones.
