An explosion of satellites, stars, and planets lights up the Super Nova Handkerchief Glass shade. The Red Art Glass shade with Bas Relief is spiked with swirls and squiggles, fused and formed in a hot kiln, and suspended from a metallic fitter. Bas-relief is a decorative sculptural technique in which designs are raised slightly from the glass surface, creating a subtle 3D texture, depth, and an interplay with light. The hardware is finished in Brushed Nickel. Designed and crafted by Meyda artists and artisans, this fixture is a fun contemporary addition to your space. This compelling lighting design is ideal for modern homes and restaurants, as well as for those who appreciate a work of beauty. Traditional artistry, high-fire kilns, and original tools create fused art glass in the old-world tradition, perfect for showcasing above bars, islands, counters, and dining tables in residential and hospitality settings. Traditional workmanship, high-fire kilns, and original tools are used to slump and fuse glass in the old-world tradition.
