With the weather warming up, it's time to start considering your outdoor lighting. Below are our infographics on how to choose the perfect-sized outdoor lights for your home.
For a single light outside your door, we recommend the overall height of the fixture be about 1/4 the overall height of the door. Position the light so the center of it is eye level or about 60"-65" from the ground. Shop the

For two lights on either side of a door or double-door, the same rules apply. The center of the light should be at eye level or 60"-65" from the ground. The overall height of the exterior fixture should be about 1/4 the height of the door. These rules can also apply to lighting on either side of your garage doors.
