The Chess Pedestal was inspired by a past time in which grand houses would be adorned with items and busts made for such attention. Today we have transformed the grand pedestal into a simpler and more sophisticated piece, in natural bay, which doesn't seek to be seen, but instead gives all the attention to the decor set atop. The Chess Pedestal can be used to house a variety of items including sculptures, flower arrangements, lamps, and other small decor items. Great places to set pedestals are within large entryways, corners of dining or living rooms and as a focal point along accent walls. Please note that this product uses natural materials and differences in color and pattern should be expected.
