The Imperial Yellow Peking Small Double Gourd Vaseis made of a unique layered glass, a complex process of blowing, carving then dipping multiple times. The wonderful yellow color was a special hue during the Ming Dynasty, as it historically represented power, and was highly prized in the emperor's palace for its brilliance.
