That's because foyers are typically larger or have taller ceilings. Chandeliers and pendants have enough height to fill the space. Additionally, they have enough bulbs to provide adequate lighting for a larger area. Try looking at lantern pendants/chandeliers that may work in your foyer. Some foyers may be lacking in height. In that case, opt for flush or semi-flush fixtures to light up your foyer.
